Part of the WaterWays series, Sharks and Plastic is an augmented reality experience that engages students to think like a scientist and learn about a local ecosystem. Kids meet a shark and help understand why they’re vomiting plastic by hypothesizing and observing just how the plastic made it into their stomach. Designed for grades 3 through 5 with funding from the National Institutes of Health, Sharks and Plastic provides 40 minutes of interactive activities and a personalized digital science journal.
