TinkerClass@Home guides K-5 students to think like scientists, engineers, and detectives in 4 steps: Listen, Wonder, Tinker, and Make. Hundreds of audio lessons and home-based hands-on activities, including popular podcast Wow in the World, build 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and creative innovation. Launched with a grant from the National Science Foundation, TinkerClass@Home gives families the flexibility to customize their curriculum and grow curious, confident lifelong learners. This product is eligible for select homeschool funding.

How to Use It
  • TinkerClass@Home works on all devices: laptops, tablets, and smart phones.
  • Podjects (Podcasts + Projects) include tools that guide students through design thinking in 4 steps. Each Podject is modular, ranging from 15 minutes to more than an hour for each step.
  • Families may customize different learning experiences with a wide variety of hands-on activities and educational podcasts (10-25 minutes per episode).
  • Approved for homeschool programs including the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), Arkansas Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools (EANS), New Hampshire Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF), Texas Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES), and the Utah Fits All Scholarship (FAS).
