STORYWORLD (Mandarin) is a language learning program for the whole family. Bilingual stories read aloud by native speakers are designed to engage learners of all ages and levels. Supported by the U.S. Department of Education, each unit includes an interactive story with word-by-word audio along with related printable activities and online games. A simple language toggle at the top of every page allows learners to listen and read the story in English, as well as Mandarin.

How to Use It

  • Kids use the step-by-step program independently, or together with their family. They read and listen to the story, answer follow-up questions, talk about what they learned, and write about what they know or think. Optional language toggles support bilingual learning.
  • Review the parent dashboard to track your child’s progress, including audio playback of their reading.
